Do Not Treat Weak Flow as Permission to Descale at Home
Diletta’s FAQ says home descaling is not recommended and warns that an improper procedure may damage components or affect warranty coverage. Released mineral debris can also move into narrow valves and lines. Repeating acid because a pump sounds strained or the group drips is not a safe diagnosis.
