Clearing a path to the water tank

We removed the necessary shelf and bin pieces so we could work at the lower rear of the fresh-food compartment. With that space open, the old tank could be taken out without forcing the surrounding interior trim.

Installing the tank and rebuilding the interior

We positioned the replacement tank in the compartment and returned the removed pieces one at a time. By the end, the refrigerator interior was back together and the doors could close normally.
