Opening the access area below the controls

On this stacked laundry center, the controls sit between the dryer and washer. The technician moved the angled cover below the control console out of the way to reach the compartment behind it. The washer front panel was also removed during the job.

With those covers off, the photos show him working at the exposed components and wiring. A multimeter is visible alongside the open area during the control board work.

Replacing the board and refitting the panels

The completed work recorded for this project was a control board replacement. The photo sequence follows the access work around that replacement, including the technician using a driver beneath the console and reaching into the opened compartment.

After the board work, the covers went back into position. The later photos show the angled access panel being refitted and the technician positioning the washer front panel. The final image shows him beside the reassembled GE laundry center.
