Opening the lower dryer section

The technician removed the access panel below the dryer door to reach the enclosed compartment. With the cover out of the way, he could work on the components behind it. The first photo shows the panel removed and a driver ready at the opening.

A removed housing had a thick coating of lint across its inner surfaces. This close-up gives a clear view of the buildup that was part of the deep-cleaning work.

Removing the buildup and refitting the panel

The technician used a vacuum while working around the opened section and the removed panel. The cleaning photo shows the hose in hand, the cover pulled away from the appliance, and the exposed area lit for access.

Once the repair and cleaning work was completed, the front panel was refitted. The final photo shows the technician beside the reassembled Whirlpool laundry center, with the dryer access area closed again.
